My name is Colin and I am a licensed associate counselor. I work with individuals who are experiencing challenges in life and looking for hope. That’s where I come in – a partner in assisting you to find courage and healing from life’s adversities that are making your path difficult. Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, the loss of a loved one, or trying to figure out what you would like your path to be, I will reassure you that things will get better. Maybe you’re simply feeling worn down and aren’t sure what’s wrong. We can discover your needs together in a safe, encouraging and respectful space. I use therapy techniques called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to assist us in our journey together. You and I will find what works best for you using these techniques as well as principles of mindfulness, spirituality, and positive psychology. Your ability to choose is of utmost importance to me. In every step of the process, I will ensure your choices are directing the goals we set. I invite you to take a step of courage to find that relief for yourself.
My wide range of experience includes providing individual and group therapy to clients in a psychiatric hospital and within outpatient settings. I have a Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Brigham Young University. I live in Phoenix with my wife and our three fun, and very active, children. I find serenity through time with my family, outdoor walks, weight training, and music. Let’s find what will bring tranquility and hope to your life.
