Kat Hammerich, LAMFT
Hi, my name is Kat. I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I have lived in Arizona my whole life and love being able to contribute to my community. I have always had a passion for working in the behavioral health field and helping others.
I received my masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University. I also received bachelors degrees in Psychology and in Family and Human Development. I have been working in the behavioral health field for 7 years conducting Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy with children with Autism and Marriage/Family Therapy.
My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, connection, and using techniques proven to be effective with clients. I believe in giving clients the opportunity to have hands-on experience in their therapeutic journey and collaborating with me on what they want to work on. I am skilled in addressing a wide range of issues including communication, conflict resolution, parenting challenges, and building strong bonds with others. I am passionate about working with children/teens as well as with couples. I have experience working with people with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and relational issues. I strive to create a safe environment for my clients that allows them to discover, explore, and process their deepest emotions, fears, and trauma. I will work hard to create a positive and non-judgemental therapeutic experience for clients.
