Internships
So you’ve pushed through countless hours and many sleepless nights in your graduate program…and now you need an internship. We’ve been there and got you covered! Here at AARC, our interns gain invaluable clinical experience. If you choose AARC as your internship site, you will be offered the following:
- Dedicated supervisor
- Weekly supervision
- Staffing and guidance from all AARC therapists
- Monthly trainings
- Opportunities to shadow sessions and intakes
- Individualized coaching and training on treatment planning, documentation, diagnosing, ethics, and all other crucial aspects of mental health
- Opportunities to gain exposure to a variety of populations, presenting issues, and forms of counseling
- A caseload of clients that include individuals, families, and couples. Group facilitation is also available.
- You will learn what it takes to be an effective clinician!
