Jasmin Roumina, LAMFT
Hello, I’m Jasmin Roumina, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to guiding individuals, couples, and families through their therapeutic journey. My academic foundation includes a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University, where I cultivated a deep understanding of the complexities within relationships.
Being of Iranian-American descent, I’ve traversed the challenges of growing up between two distinct cultures. This unique experience has granted me insights into the difficulties of transitions and the pursuit of fitting in. Fluent in Farsi, I embrace cultural diversity and empathize with those navigating similar paths.
Outside of my therapeutic work, I find joy in the company of friends, family, and my delightful puppy. Engaging in artistic endeavors during my free time serves as both a meditative practice and a means of self-expression.
My fundamental belief is that mental health is integral to our overall well-being, standing on equal ground with physical health. Whether individuals are striving to become the best versions of themselves or seeking support during challenging transitions, I am committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment.
I specialize in supporting teenagers, children, and their families as they navigate the complexities of self-discovery while also being open to working with couples. I firmly believe that everyone deserves a space where they can feel heard and seen.
In my therapeutic practice, I adopt a client-centered approach, valuing collaboration with families, couples, and individuals. Together, we work towards creating a conducive environment for growth, healing, and self-discovery.
